Harvard University bound Bella Almanza was named tournament Most Valuable Player as St. Stephen’s School defeated St. Anthony 25-18, 25—20 for the championship of the St. Mary’s Hall Volleyball Invitational in San Antonio.
“Bella is just amazing in summary club volleyball she was an outstanding setter for the nationally second ranked Austin Juniors 17 Mizuno team and for us she is our leading hitter and highest percentage passer,” said St. Stephen’s head coach Karrie Poppinga,” She is certainly a gift to the Harvard University volleyball program.”
